I checked on the birds this morning and the bird feeder was gone. It fell down to the alley below and broke. I had to throw it out. It was held up by strong leather laces. It looks as though they may have been cut, I don't know.
Oh sorry DB, didn't realize it was low enough for someone to cut it down. If that is what happened, that's sad....whatever happened to caring people who enjoyed every day living and showed compassion for others.
Unfortunate! My experience with bird-feeders is they are not exclusively visited by birds, but also by clever alley-denizens with sharp teeth. May not have been human vandalism.
