We didn't see the Easter rabbit in our neck of the woods, but we did have a limping raccoon, a chickadee which looked like it only had one leg, but in fact had the other one tucked under it's feathers and has not been using it - so we assume that it is injured; and a stellar jay making 6 attempts to eat the last tidbits of the peanut pie hanging from our porch. Perseverance, survival and ingenuity are some of the traits that come to my mind when Easter rolls around. Of course, I like to see the rebirth of Spring and am glad the crocuses and daffodils, as well as the sweet sounds of the early morning songbirds have made their appearances. Happy Easter to you. Happy Spring, too!
