Thank you.

Thank you Pacifica62, Salemslot9, Gerry, Wes and Just Plain Bill for your comments on OTHER VOICES. You folks really got the message. And thank you to everyone who read the entry. I didn't get the readership I was hoping for. Certainly not enough to match the work I and the other writers put in on it. We played to a small house,

But the entry is still posted here and still floating in Email land in case anyone wants to discover what some of my journal buddies did.

I try to be philosophical when nobody comments on an entry I put my heart and soul into. I sometimes think that the more soul you put into an entry, the more off putting it might be if people aren't used to that. So then you give them some time, some years to think about it, but it is like the flower blooming in the desert with no one to see, the words are still beautiful and if you keep practicing the art of the written word there will be times when the readers are more plentiful and more than rewarded for it.

I certainly did appreciate all the work that you and the other writers put into that entry. I have a friend who is a writer, creator, executive producer, and story editor and I have heard him talking about actors as though they were puffed up, egocentric, selfish, demanding prima donnas (and perhaps dons). In other words, not in very flattering terms. What I found so good in this entry is that I got to hear the other side of the story. And yes, there most certainly is one and it needed to be played, even to a small house.

Well, if you would be as kind to provide a link, I would like to see what 'Other Voices' were talking about...

Perhaps you have had more readers for that post than you think. I didn't get to it until today, and perhaps others came to it late as well. But even if you and your friends did play to a small audience -- what a performance!
