Vagabondism #98 "Nothing is ever completely what it is to our understanding. The more familiar it becomes, the more we discover about it."

absolutely true. the more we think we know something, the more we find out we don't know, or the more we find out we still need to know! that is what we are taught in the Catholic Church. The Bible calls them "mysteries". not mysteries to be solved, but mysteries bc they are a little bit "mysterious", in that you can't know, immediately, everything about some particular subjects. the more you know about them, the more you realize you don't know. when i first found that out, first heard of that, i was first very perplexed, then surprised, then fascinated, then enjoyed my journey to learn about more and new things in life. :)
